A Day with my Dad

My dad & I caught a movie "Amelia" ytdy. I was pretty excited to go out with Dad as I haven't gone out with him for a while.

"Amelia" is a true story about a girl who had a dream of flying. She just wanted to have the freedom of flying. Dad said that this movie is better than the movie "2012".

We faced some problems at the ticket counter... redeeming my free movie voucher.

After that was sorted out, Dad asked the cashier to pick our seats. Found our seats. All ready for the movie. Hmmm... I realised my seat was wider. Where is the other armrest? Look for my hp torch light and to my surprise, this seat was wider and it cld seat the 2 of us. Wow!!! Lover's seat! Haha! Then I called Dad to come join me. I held his arm and I felt much loved ... I dreamt for a moment that my future boyfriend should be just as loving as my dad. Hehee.

At the end of the movie, I learnt something impt fm this movie. Although I agree not all women can fly a plane, but it can be POSSIBLE! Amelia was the 1st woman to fly a plane :) Despite many objection, she proved them wrong!! After she proved that women cld fly, it led to 99 women learning to fly!! Amazing!! Later on, she got a bigger dream which she told her handsome husband that she wanted to fly around the world alone. That's dangerous! He still supported and allowed her to fly but with a navigator. Amelia's boyfriend told her that it wld be a dangerous flight & hard to find a ship on a big ocean to re-fuel her plane. But she refused and followed her dream. Later in 1937, the navigator and Amelia vanished. Lost all contact. Just before her last flight, she spoke to her husband....

I'm happy that she fulfilled most of her dream :) She showed determination and not allowing others to sway her dream. So go for your dreams.... You can do it!

Bye, I'm leaving my bestie at 9.30am to meet @ Orchard mrt stn tomorrow.
