14 Dec

I am back to blogging. :)

But i really don't know where to begin. Haha. Too many things to write and share about. :x Hmmm, i will let my mind take control.

Finally, the day on 14th Dec has arrived. The day was also the day i was looking forward to it with enthusiasm. At 1.45pm, i was nearly pacing around my living room so i decided to sit in front of the fan before i went nuts. Until about 1.50pm, mum asked me to stand at the entrance corridor near the house door while she snapped some pictures of the cake in the living room. But i grew more bored and fidgety thus, i went down for a short stroll and also in the hope of catching my guests on my way.

Unexpectedly, i actually did meet KL in blue t-shirt and black bermuda by chance. He was trying to call me but in vain. My phone wasn't with me at that time. We then sat down to chat at the void deck. In between our conversation i peeked out a few times to see if any guests were in sight. Was i too excited/tensed, i wondered? Haha, i suppose i was. Because it was already pass 2pm yet i only had KL as my first guest. So i ensorted him around outside my block.

Then i brought him up to my house. Suddenly after i entered my home, i went blank to what to do other than sitting down. But luckily, when i looked at KL, something hit my mind. I knew he wanted to see my albums especially overseas countries.

I headed over to a small cupboard and brought out a heavy album and beckoned him to sit while i showed him photos. I am sure he was suspicious at what i was doing initially. But it was a joy sharing these photos with him. :)

Next, Aunt Elsie came knocking the door followed by Jy and Angelina. The girls i grew up with in SSD joined KL and me browsing through photos while mums chatted and ate. Then i pulled out one more album filled with SSD memories. Because i could easily tell that they were enjoying so much by looking through these with delighted faces. They sometimes said like "I couldn't remember seeing you..." or "I couldn't remember posing in front of the camera with you although i didn't know you despite knowing you at the present time...", everytime they saw any unfamiliar photos and i would just shrug and replied "Me too." and we would break into laughter. We would point out and mentioned the names of the faces we were pointing at. It was fun reminiscing the sweet past.

Finally, my other close friend came. I showed her some photos which had Jaslyn's face.

After some moments of reminiscing, we started watching a movie called Killers since all friends were present. It was actually a comedy one and my guests including me laughed and liked it. It was a relief. I was previously afraid and worried that Killers would be a bore to us and guests. Thank God, we had a great laugh. :D

At 5.40pm, we had a birthday celebration. Angelina helped me pause the movie. We all gathered in front of me while i was sitting in the centre with a beautiful and delectable birthday cake made by my talented mum.

Soon after snapping moments, i finally sang a birthday song even to myself along with others who song signed. Jaslyn reminded me to make a wish after that. I made a biggest wish and it will be a birthday gift to myself. :D I will definitely be so happy if it is fulfilled... ;)

After the movie, we started to play UNO with Ian. I frankly forgot how to play. I have not played for few years. Fortunately, i had friends and Ian to guide me along. Eventually i remembered how to play properly. We only played one round, argh!

Dad then beckoned all of us to sit in front of tv. Dad showed all old memorable photos on tv, a lot of credits went to mum for picking out photos from the computer so that we could laugh. Dad and mum pointed at the old faces of guests on nearly all photos and said something that made us laugh. Sometimes he would ask some of us why we posed like that and some of us would just shrug or tried to recall or explained why if we recalled. It was hilarious and enjoyable.

After that, my friends sat there while i sat on the floor just chatting away like old friends.

Finally, three guests wanted to leave so i sent them to Mrt station safely and to bid good bye and gave final hugs. Jy, her mum, aunt Melissa and old mama were still at home.

When i reached home, i showed Jy photos on the camera and talked about what ITE courses we were thinking of choosing with gusto and some seriousness. I found out that Jy also wanted to choose Visual Communication which i also chose. I was delighted upon hearing that. So the discussion went on until it was time to send them hugs and bid good bye.

Wow, what a LOOONNNGGG day! It was initially 2 to 6pm but the tea party ended nearly 9pm. Wow, what a blast! This is my best birthday celebration!!
