Good Friday

I woke up with a stomach cramp as well as heavy eyes. My sleep last night was kinda fitful. ):

But today's Good Friday therefore, I shouldn't give it a miss.

After dressing up, I said a prayer asking God to take the excuriating pain away and substitute me with energy once I was in the train, sitting with my hands clasped together. Yet, the pain didn't elude. I prayed hard saying, "Take away the pain, God!" and this line repeated until I fell asleep while in a bowing position.

Somehow, I felt guilty for asking Him to take the pain with Him as He's already suffering with utter pain by carrying everyone's sins on his back. It got me thinking... if I said the wrong prayer of desperation to get rid of the pain. But on the bright side, I'm more than glad that He's able to take them on his shoulders and carry on, and die the painful death on the cross.

During the preaching at the church, a pastor told a story about a 13 years old boy who worked part-time jobs to help lighten his family's finances by being a deliveryman. One day, his bicycle tyre burst. He was unable to go home at that moment. He pushed his bicycle while crying and crying because he was struggling with many jobs. He thought God didn't understand his struggles. He eventually reached the petrol area and sadly, it was closed. But somehow, he managed to fill up the tyre with petrol. (:

It was amazing, wasn't it? God works in different ways, the ways you can't fathom out. God understood his struggles. God understands mine, too! Sometimes, miracles take time to really happen. But yes, it rarely happens shortly. Just don't get your faith in Him shaken even if what you pray for don't happen in a short time. It takes time.

After the pastor's preaching, I suddenly felt energetic and decided to stand up and sang the last closing song as I have been sitting from the beginning of the service. The pain was miraclously gone. It made me realise what I said in my prayer also takes time. :D Thank you, God!

Goodnight, readers!
