Back to blogging with a new outing to talk about. (:
Exactly after a week of hanging out with KL, I met him again! We met up for our morning jog, something good to start off our day. I warned him I might not be a good jogger and would most likely lag behind.
Once we reached Tampines Stadium, we warmed ourselves up. Then, we started off jogging at the same pace for the first round but I started to slow down the second round. Tsk me!
I used to be an avid jogger since young and usually jogged with daddy regularly on the weekends. Through those memorable times, I fell in love with jogging. I still like to jog but not as passionate as before which I'm sad about.
As I jogged, I started to clear many thoughts in my mind. I started to breathe in the beauty of the surrounding around me. I felt the wind too. (: It was the quietness I liked.
I jogged only three rounds that summed up of 1.2km whereas KL doubled by jogging six rounds equalling to 2.4km. Just as I walked back to where KL's bottle was sitting as if it was a part of an audience, he shouted to me to join him to walk one more round to warm up. He was completely sweaty. I nodded and joined him. As we walked, we chatted away.
As for breakfast, we had KFC A.M white porridge and it's one of my favourites. (:

Enjoying every bite! |
Finally, back home for a fresh shower and home-cooked lunch, we were off to meet each other at Tampines 1 again. Hunting for affordable and nice shoes was really tough. We first hunted at Tampines 1 but to no avail.
So as planned, we headed off to Bugis Street.

Off we go to Bugis! |
This time, Bugis Street wasn't as full-packed with shopaholics as usual now that my school holiday schedule is different from primary and secondary schools schedules. :/
Shoe-hunting followed. As we walked back to the previous shoe shop named "Trail" on level 2 of Bugis Street, we tried our luck there. Unfortunately, there wasn't a suitable size for KL. ): But we weren't giving up yet. We walked to the other stores until we halted at the very last store we previously patronised.
To our sheer delight, we found the right size for him!!! (: I knew it was always painful for him to buy with money but it had a nice colour of navy pair of shoes. (: I'm sure he would treasure it dearly. Speaking of the colour of the shoes, I've realised that I actually like navy. (:
Exhausted after walking around Bugis+ and I was cold, we rest our legs at McDonalds while KL had his bubble tea. Afterwards, we went up to the sky level where it was an open area. We actually saw a famous chef hiding in his own shop, making his phone call. :O That level didn't allow people to sit down which was such a pity. We headed to Raffles Place then.
But maybe our tiredness took over as we accidentally took off the train at City Hall. You might laugh at us like we laughed at ourselves. KL exclaimed, "Why???" whereas I asked, "What happened? How did we foolishly alight out of the train without realising it was the wrong station???" -.- We broke into a fit of laughter.
But we got to admit that we didn't really laugh as much as that time. I was sleepy initially but laughing so much made the latter journey even more lively. ^^v So having so much laughter perked us up.
As we approached Lau Pa Sat Market, its building gave me a sense of familiarity. I remembered exactly how it looked like. Nothing changed the last time I went. It was KL's first time dining there and he was so excited. (:
I was surprised he picked this as our dining place. No wonder its name looked a bit familiar to me. It's highly recommended for dining.

Let the beautiful photos do the rest of talking. (:
I love this photo taken by me! |
Yes, home sweet home! ((:
Really had a great time with KL despite our tiredness after our morning exercise and a lot of walking. Thank you for choosing an excellent dining place and I was deeply honoured to be your first person to accompany you there. ^^
