Hey there!
I'm back from work and it was tiring... Well, not so tiring. I'm glad I'm not moving around on my feet so much, serving food at a restaurant or other F&B outlets. Instead, I'm working as an accounts and admin assistant. But it's more on admin stuff.
There is a huge difference between working and intern-ing. During my intern, all I learnt was to make payrolls and sorting all the invoices according to the dates and months, and packed the lollipops.
As for working, I learnt so much for the last two weeks. This week is my 3rd week. I learnt how to record down transactions using MYOB software, scanning books (I've scanned over three thick books - over 600 pages in total!) into PC, and making invoices and receipts. There's more things I learnt than these! I learnt how to laminate and helped to caption photos. Another thing, I made an embarrassing mistake because one of the photos was wrongly placed on the laminating machine. ): I'm also very blur at times...
After two weeks familiarizing my duties, I've gotten very used to my routine and it's quite packed. Always making me super busy and I find myself rarely slacking away.
On the other hand, seeing kids come into the office brightens me up everyday! Sometimes, I will greet them by waving "Hi". They are all so cute! I see the uniqueness in them. I'm really blessed and thankful to have many abilities I couldn't find in them. Yet, they are still joyful! I also help staffs with some sessions with the kids. One of them always dirt my arms and hands with paints. Today, she nearly dirtied my jacket! But it's always a joy to be with her. She's very funny most of the times. (: We seem to communicate better this morning. (: She's very co-operative today which I'm really proud of.
Another best memory with another kid. He knew I'm deaf. So he gestured. We actually communicated in gestures and he was so cutely obedient to me. He couldn't let me go that day after his first morning session. I got to go off as I was supposed to be in for only a session. But I ended up accompanying him for another session along with other staffs.
All the kids are just unique in different ways and I'm grateful to be able to see it in them.
Till then, ciao!
