Art Class ((:

This marks my 200th post since 2008. ((:

It has been years and years I last attended an art class. ): I stopped attending LaSalle art classes on Friday and Sunday when I was probably in primary 4. I still remembered some of the art lessons I was taught by Aaron. (: I was really grateful to Aaron and his partner for allowing me be involved entirely in his class. I really love his imagination as he used to tell us fiction stories using a lot of cool imagination.

After quitting LaSalle classes, I was glad I was still able to enjoy Art as I learnt it in school as a subject. Zoe, my Art teacher expanded my art knowledge as I grew. I remembered one of the Art lessons which was about adding more details on the tree trunk, shades and tones. That was when I fell in love with pencil shading and tones.

As I moved on to secondary school, I took Art Club as my CCA in the hope of expanding my knowledge and skills. But it really disappointed me as I graduated with not as much new knowledge as I thought. I ended up thinking my CCA was more like Design Club as the students were always helping out in designing the props for any events. Thus it led to a huge loss of passion in Art. But, thankfully, I found another passion - Photography.

So speaking of Art class I took today, it took me back to the days where I let my imagination run wild. Fortunately, I'm STILL able to sketch and draw pretty well even after years of not doing any sketches. :p

During Art class, I was excited, waiting for instructions before I started! Instead of writing, the photos (Mummy took these photos. Thanks mummy!) will speak what I did throughout the class. :D It was about Print Making.

Getting dirty but I heck care :p

Process 3 & 4

On the other hand, doing Art is more like doing it freely, with no right or wrong, or formulas or even making mistakes is fine. It's the feeling I like when doing Art - Freedom. The feeling I used to have as a child.

Thank you very much, Aunty Soo Fong for an interesting class :D I immensely enjoyed every process of it.
