Holiday

(:

HELLO!

I have stopped working on 29th June. I left the workplace with bittersweet memories, showered with love, a cake, a letter and lovely gifts. Wow! I felt so blessed that day! I wasn't even ready to leave, let alone say my goodbye to the kids I once played with and at least taught them something during sessions.

I left, knowing I really need to spend a lot of time with my family before I enter a new world, the creative and competitive world that is.

Since the first day of July onwards, I've been hanging out with my close friends and parents. AND I've been drinking coffee a lot, usually when we settle down for some tea and more talking. AND AND AND, I've also been shooting a lot! (Keep a lookout on my photography blog for new photos, woohoo!) Happy girl!

After a couple of outings with my mummy alone, I realised that shopping OR window-shopping is NOT my favourite time with her anymore. Having a heart-to-heart talk with her, together with a good iced Mocha (A MUST for me) at a quiet place, has became more important than shopping. I don't feel like I'm talking to a mother, but a very very best friend who understands my inner feelings + thoughts. (:

Apart from all the bondings, shopping and drinking with various people, I've watched World War Z, Despicable Me 2 and The Wolverine with my friends and mummy. Moreover,  these movies were being subtitled in English!!!

It's actually my first time watching one of X-Men movie series! I love when Hugh Jackman got heated up and the veins came into vision. But what's more amazing is that he could fight, walk, run with the claws on, without hurting himself by accident! I know it takes a lot of practice and a habit be cultivated before X-Men movies started. USA is AMAZING in the movie production!

However, I really hope that the strict limit of cinemas that only has English subtitles for English movies will eventually be expanded to more GV cinemas. It'll be more convenient to get to the nearest GV cinemas rather than having to go to only Vivo City, Katong and Plaza Singapura.

Anyway, I've met some lecturers. And they told me something that I kinda know I can't get rid of (but possible if I practise). Neatness. They told me that I need to get real messy with my sketches... and not bothering about neat lines, etc. How am I going to start being messy? It's one thing I got to sacrifice - the neatness within me. Time to get dirty with my hands, I guess. And, I really need to improve my creativity. It's what Art truly is.
