While waiting for mummy to be home from the hospital...
Here's a prayer:
Dear God,
This morning is a real daze to me. The incident keeps playing in my mind and I can't take it anymore. It's like a nightmare. God, please make sure there are no infections or whatever on my beloved mummy's hand (she cut her hand with the penknife by accident). SHE SERIOUSLY CAN'T LOSE HER HAND because it's like losing her voice to speak to me. She also needs her hands to do her baking. Baking is her only love besides her family and friends. God, please calm her nerves for I know she's shivering inside. I too am shivering. Please calm my nerves too. God, by calming my nerves, tell me she's going to be alright and that she will recover quickly. She's suffering enough pain, she can't be given even more pain. God, make sure she gets home safe and sound. And I know doctors are in Your hands, put Your hands on them as they handle the wound. Everything is in Your hands right now. I know You reign everything and I trust You with everything. Thank You for everything You have done for us. In Jesus' name I pray amen!
Hopefully she will be alright.
