So KL and i decided to take a short stroll towards the breakwater. We have been looking forward to that moment.
When KL first got up on the breakwater, i snapped a picture of him while he lifted his arms straight into the air. I like that picture. :)
After a few moments of taking photos, we sat down and enjoyed the sea breeze. Today's wind is not so strong as the last time I was here :( Nonetheless, we still enjoyed the quietness around us. :D We sat there chatting away and sometimes let the silence draw in for a moment. Just relaxing for a while. :)
Then suddenly I had an idea. I told KL about it, and he reluctantly agreed to it and did a great job. That idea was to write "BFF" (best friends forever) and "5 years" on the sand so that i could take a picture before 2010 ends. It was just a memory for us. :)
At that time while he was doing his work, the unforgiving sun was already shining on us forming a tiny beads of sweat on our foreheads.
After the work and taking a photo of it, we headed off to Mcdonald for the second time. We lost track of time. Most have arrived and gone off. :( Fortunately, we met JC by chance. We were waiting for the same guy, Jack. Lol.
After much delay, we were brought to the right destination by Jack where we spotted many new faces. We started to join in the games and had immense fun!
During a five minutes interval, ZX asked KL and i got to know each other. I came to learn that he learnt sign language from seniors and mastered it in a year and he is now into second year of polytechnic. Impressive! His sign language is clear! KL and i also made two other new NP friends (Bryan and Zaf) :) I am glad to know them. They are among the nicer hearing people i have known including ZX.
After the break, we all broke into laughter. Dunno why??- Do not ask me why. It's too embarrassing to write it down... Only if you can hear me laugh hysterically at ECP. One of these games we took part in was tremendously hilarious all thanks to two guys from NP for their creativity. They were two of the members in white team which KL, Zaf and i were in too.
The next game was 'Dressing Up". Zaf, KL and i laughed so much when the guys stuff some crushed newspaper onto the other teams. Poor boys... They were almost transformed into girls. Haha!
We had to be creative in dressing them up- to make something up using newspapers and straws. We would paste our hand-made things on one of our human being who was in our team within five minutes. After that, we moved on to the next team and did the same thing except making new ones according to the instruction on what to make. Then the cycle repeated after every five minutes until a round was up. Just a round yet we laughed roariously. After that, we were asked to vote who was the best dressed up. KL and i voted Superman. Haha! Handsome! Lol!
More games were played until the night drew in. Finally, free and easy time. After sitting on the breakwater again with KL, we sat and watched ZX play monopoly deal with other players. I tried to watch and learn but to no avail. Sad!
When KL joined and played on his own after a round pairing up with ZX, i slowly understood a bit with a few explanations from KL. I am now thinking of learning how to play but i need to buy a packet of cards. I don't know where it can be found... =x
As the event folded to an end, we bidded goodbye to people and took a bus to Bedok Point for dinner.
Then finally, home sweet home. My feet were damn exhausted and both were aching! Today i am feeling better. Much lesser aches and more energised for today's activities.
I thank God for blessing yesterday with good weather even though it was cloudy. :)
