Memory Lane

As I was riding on a bus 5 to Lido, Orchard to meet my classmate for a movie, all the school memories flowed back to me like a rushing stream. When I was in secondary school, I rode the same bus number fro and back. Now that I'm in ITE, I came to realise that I really, really missed these memories to the great extent.
As the familiar buildings and flats zoomed by, my mind collected the sweet memories while staring out of my seat window, smiling. Looking back, I asked myself what are the best and worst memories from primary and secondary schools'. As I digged deeper into the folder full of memories, I slowly identified them whether they were bad or good mentally.

I laughed at my own foolishness and childishness by pinching boys from my primary 6 class. I remembered their screams of pain. Nonetheless, I remembered how they bore their pain by allowing me to pinch or playfully punch them further. I know I was naughty back then.

But being naughty didn't stop me once I was enrolled to the secondary school. In contrast, it turned to worse... I then played a little rougher on my poor best friend, scratching, pinching, punching, loosing his PE T-shirt by stretching his. Not only me getting rougher, he also became more playful such as messing my hair and poking me which he had never done in primary 6.

We became best friends in primary 6 and we kept our friendship blooming as we entered the second phase of school life - secondary school. I got to admit, our playfulness is one of the reasons why the foundation of our friendship became stronger. We shared laughter, happiness, sorrows, bitterness, challenges and lastly, secrets. Honestly, we don't have much sorrows and bitterness; we are pretty cheerful almost all the times. (:

For me, the best secondary school memories is simply the bus journeys with my best friend. During the bus trips, we shared a lot of laughter, stories, jokes and some playful pokes and hair-messing each other, well, mostly messing my hair only. Besides him, my other bus seat mates made our bus trips a lot funnier and enjoyable, along with some photo shots mostly taken by me. That was how our friendship grew with time passing by.

Now, our friendship has reached six years and still counting.
