8 July 2012 was the day I kissed my 3-weeks school holiday a goodbye. Yesterday was the day I welcomed a new school term. Not expecting anything new, I trudged to school with my usual green school bag plus my three years old (and still counting on) pencil box. Everything is the same except my new mushroom-looking hairstyle. And, I hate its looks. ):
Yesterday began with a Monday lecture. Two lectures back to back starting at 10am and ended at 12 noon. My timetable doesn't change so it's the same old routine, getting to class to class on time, paying attention in class and then going home at either 4 or 5pm. Nothing new.
However, I ended up spending time feasting and snapping away at the chalet after school, hehe. And, it was the last day. The chalet there was a place for a huge gathering where my American family of three who flew to Singapore for a 3-week visit, catched up with my mummy's side. They've been here for a week and two days. (: A lot of my relatives just kept on coming. My mummy's relatives is a hilarious lot.
Not forgetting something, I did manage to stir up a short yet interesting conversation with my 15 years old nephew. (:
I remembered eating chicken rice and couples of char siew and meatballs. They are delectable, especially char siew! It was actually cooked by one of my relatives! (Y)
Aftewards, snapping followed. My American uncle who's my mummy's elder brother, lent me his DSLR camera and told me that I was the photographer of the chalet. I was stunned but inside me, I imagined jumping around happily like a little girl. Back to reality, I said YES! :D
Of course, I immensely enjoyed the thrills of clicking away. Seeing the guests mingle around, laughing to their hearts' content and me capturing their laughters made my two days at the chalet a wonderful one.
