A Great Sunday

It's unbelievable that the movie I longed to watch, was showing during the Saturday Fellowship. It was called Soul Surfer. It was a true story.

I began crying the moment it reached a scene showing a main character, Bethany being pulled out to the shore after being badly bitten by an egregious shark. I was then impressed by her composure when she was being carried to the shore and then to a hopsital. If I were her, I would've screamed at the top of my lungs in excuriating pain instead. :/ For the rest of the movie, I let it do the talk. (: You should watch how determined she was to shine.

Unfortunately, I missed the last part as I rushed out with my puffy eyes and met Ronda to teach her some last-minute signs before her interpretation. I plan to rent that DVD and watch all over again with my family and to weep again. Haha! I don't know if I'll cry again.

Anyway, I rushed through the drizzle and reached the Bible House ten minutes late. ):

When I arrived the Bible House hall, all I saw was the lyrics (shown below) on the big screen.

And the cry of my heart
Is to bring You praise
From the inside out
Lord my soul cries out

A worship group of youths were practising their instruments and singing while Ronda practised with her signing with me joining in. Ronda kept saying that she was scared. She said in whatsapp that she has a stage fright. Haha! A priest, Mr Raymond and I prayed for her, for Your guidance upon her as she interpreted for the MHI youths. Soon, she was up on the stage and interpreted while she worshipped so that we wouldn't be off beats. She showed her shyness so clearly that made her cute. Haha! And, she made it!! Yay!

After about thirty minutes of worship, Mr Raymond started off with a play. It showed the concerns of the missionary issues. Then he started preaching. He taught us that the missionary are us. And whatever we do are missionaries to others. (: And that the mission is a continuous process, not like CIP as many people have wrongly thought. I realise he's right about the misconception. Then Pauline asked me whether I'd like to go on a mission trip with MHI (Ministry of the Hearing Impaired) youths. I'm not sure. It'll be held in Cambodia where non-christian deaf children live. I've never gone on a mission trip so it'll be a brand new experience.

So hmmm. Thus, I'm asking God for Your guidance and just whisper into my heart, tell me what to do, whether I should go and be exposed to the under-developed country??
