An Exciting Sunday

8.50am

A nice feeling to be back to writing. And, yes I love writing. Speaking of it, I'm somewhat jealous yet proud to have a younger brother who has an inborn talent in English. He reads more widely than me. I remember when he was a toddler, my brother was being fed by my parents with various books such as boats, airplanes and cars. They developed a new interest in him.

Similarly, I developed a permanent interest in reading storybooks. I remember my favourite aunt often read me childhood books. Maybe from that time, I fell in love with it. (:

Anyway, today's Sunday. But this time, I'm not as awake as usual. Heading to church with sleepy eyes. Currently in the train typing all these in my phone and I'm miserably standing. Why am I standing when I want to sit and sleeeeeep. ): Sigh. Nonetheless, today also marks the day that I'm going to the Singapore Flyer for the second time. That thought perks me up. :D

11.40am

During the start of worship, Jolyn joined me. I'm so glad and blessed in which I wouldn't be signing off beats. She was among the kindest girls who just stood besides me without being asked and worshipped in sign language. In unison, we sang with our hands, me following the singers' and her beats. I felt like I was really worshipping without trying to lip-read the singers on stage, stressing whether I was on the right words. I like when I'm on the right beats.

As I started worshipping, I slowly became energetic. My eyes no longer felt heavy. I sang so happily, mentally saying 'thanks' to God for providing me enegry to worship and praise Him. :D THANK YOU, LORD! The songs never fail to perk me up every Sunday.

One of the lyrics I remember vividly:

Worship and praises are Yours

1.49pm

After church, my family met my mummy's family side for lunch at Tiong Bahru. I missed taking down the name of a shop we feasted at. ): My uncle ordered a great spread of yummy food. More food just kept flowing in, served by a couple of waiters.

Now with my stomach stuffed with food inside, I'm in a car drived by Aunt Bridget. It's the first time I saw her drive rather than her hubby used to! Approaching the Singapore Flyer, my excitement started growing. (: It's my second time being up there. Yay, we're finally stepping out of the car, all the way from Tiong Bahru. I don't know if my excitement when I first entered a cabin will ever be the same... :/ Later, I'll know and pen it down after riding it. WOOOOAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Thirty minutes felt like fifteen minutes. I had the same excitement now with my new camera, haha. I shot more on mummy's relatives than landscapes since I've done landscapes shots the first time I went. My uncle and mummy's relatives were really photogenic, lively and hilarious. They posed various poses in a funny way. All I did was to smile my usual sweet smile and added a peace sign. Relatives double up fun! XD We all laughed uproariously whenever we saw the photos after each take.

5.01pm

We are currently at Singapore Food Trail having tea time. We are always hungry. Haha!

But let the photos do the talk :D

5.25pm

Back to Aunt Bridget's car... Ahhhh, I feel so good basking in the air-conditioned car. (: Heading to Aunt Irene's house. Wondering how I'll react to the new appearance of her house now that she has a new, big television and old white walls were newly painted with a grey colour. Looking forward to seeing the photos taken during the day on her BIG television. (: Hehe!
